Job Summary
SimplePay Capital is recruiting 100 motivated interns to join as Credit Officers (Collections Officers and Loans Officers). This is an entry-level opportunity designed to give fresh graduates practical experience in financial services, customer engagement, and loan management.
Key Responsibilities
Collections Officer
- Monitor loan repayment schedules
- Follow up on overdue or upcoming payments
- Negotiate repayment plans with clients
- Manage debt recovery and minimize defaults
- Maintain accurate collection records
- Conduct KYC checks and identify fraud risks
Loans Officer
- Recruit and retain customers
- Process and review loan applications
- Disburse and track loans
- Educate clients on loan terms and repayment
- Maintain proper documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies
Shared Duties
- Work closely with branch teams
- Provide market insights and customer feedback
- Meet performance targets
- Maintain high standards of customer service
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a certificate (Diploma/Degree is an added advantage)
- Graduates or fresh candidates with no experience encouraged to apply
- Fluency in English and Luganda
- Strong computer skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible to relocate
- Age: Below 25 years
