Job Summary

The Maintenance Controller will coordinate, supervise, and optimize maintenance activities within the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&F) section. The goal is to ensure maximum equipment availability and plant efficiency using VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) principles.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Operations

• Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems
• Develop and review maintenance programs for equipment
• Perform calibration and optimization of plant systems
• Ensure efficient operation of plant and process equipment

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct and review risk assessments (HIRA, PHA, JHA)
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards
• Uphold housekeeping and safety procedures

Performance & Optimization

• Drive continuous improvement of plant processes
• Apply VPO principles across all maintenance activities
• Monitor equipment reliability and performance

Team Leadership

• Train, coach, and develop maintenance teams
• Implement training plans and succession strategies
• Foster teamwork, communication, and innovation

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is an added advantage
• 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2–3 years hands-on mechanical/electrical workshop experience
• Experience in maintenance planning
• Knowledge of Control & Automation systems is an added advantage
