Job Purpose
The Digital Communications Officer will support the implementation of digital communication strategies aimed at enhancing the company’s brand image, promoting its services, and strengthening its online presence. The role ensures timely, consistent, and effective communication across all digital platforms while supporting both internal and external engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive communication.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content plan for the website and social media platforms.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence with engaging, customer-centric content.
- Regularly update the company website with relevant news, customer updates, and announcements.
- Support customer experience teams in responding to online inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality digital content including articles, infographics, and social media posts.
- Ensure all digital communication aligns with company objectives and brand voice.
- Support internal communications including newsletters, announcements, and staff updates.
- Promote company events, campaigns, and initiatives through strategic content planning.
- Coordinate and manage online engagements such as webinars, live sessions, and digital events.
- Monitor and analyze digital performance, providing insights to improve strategy.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or Digital Marketing.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 3 years of experience in digital communications, social media management, content creation, or related fields is an added advantage.
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of digital communication tools and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic design tools such as Canva.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and social media insights tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
