Job Overview
Uganda Airlines is hiring 2 Airport Services Supervisors to oversee passenger handling operations at its Nairobi station.
The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring safe, secure, and efficient airport operations in line with airline and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise passenger handling for departures, arrivals, and transfers
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures
- Coordinate with airport authorities and service providers
- Monitor on-time performance (OTP) and baggage handling standards
- Oversee flight reconciliation and post-flight documentation
- Manage mishandled baggage cases (AHL/OHD)
- Lead and supervise Passenger Service Agents and Ground Handling Agents (GHA)
- Enforce service quality, discipline, and grooming standards
- Drive ancillary revenue collection (e.g., excess baggage fees)
- Identify and report operational risks, hazards, and incidents
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in airline passenger services or airport operations
- Prior supervisory experience in ground handling or airline operations is an advantage
- Strong understanding of airport safety and security procedures
- Experience working with multiple airport stakeholders
