4 Consultancy NGO Job Opportunities at planetGOLD Uganda

The planetGOLD Uganda Project is hiring four consultants to support its mission of reducing mercury use in artisanal and small-scale gold mining while improving the livelihoods of mining communities across Uganda.

Funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the project is executed in Uganda by IMPACT Transforming Natural Resources Management, in partnership with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) and the Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines (DGSM).

The project is part of a wider global initiative running in 23 countries, focused on formalising the artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) sector through stronger regulations, institutional coordination, and capacity building.
